Women’s Day Celebration in Thiruvannamalai district

In this event, a food competition, slogan, essay competition and drawing competition were conducted for the college students with the focus of International Year of millets. Mr.V. Suresh, Senior Scientist and Head, ICAR KVK, Thiruvannamalai has given inaugural address.

Dr. Kalaivani, Principal, Arinjar Anna Government Arts College, Cheyyar delivered the presidential address. Mrs. T. Margaret SMS Home Science had delivered the special address on role of women in agriculture and millet based food for income generation and improvement of healthiest life style.

A total number of 156 students and 19 officials were participated in the event.
